Cisterns are making a come back. Saving rain water is back in fashion and becoming a valuable tool to limit the rains immediate impact on streams. Cisterns not only hold rain water for drip irrigation but can also be used to wash the house, your car, your driveway, all without using treated water. Plants, fish, gardens prefer to have rain water without the chemicals necessary to make water potable. Here are some samples of cisterns I have built and installed.
